Key Responsibilities
- Court & Tribunal Representation: Represent clients in courts, including the High Court of Tanzania, CMA, District Land and Housing Tribunals, and other tribunals.
- Legal Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, and other essential court documents for diverse legal proceedings.
- Registries Assistance: Handle client matters involving company and land registries, including filing documents, conducting searches, and follow-ups.
- Legal Opinions: Draft and deliver well-researched legal opinions for clients and Firm Partners.
- Partner Support: Assist Partners with legal research, case preparation, and other tasks as assigned.
- Other Legal Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the Firm’s growth and success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: LL.B degree from a recognized university.
- Professional Admission: Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts.
- Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or legal department.
- Specialization: Strong background in civil litigation, mining, corporate, or business law.
- Skills:
- Excellent legal drafting and research capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- High level of professionalism and dedication to client service.
