Key Responsibilities

  • Court & Tribunal Representation: Represent clients in courts, including the High Court of Tanzania, CMA, District Land and Housing Tribunals, and other tribunals.
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, and other essential court documents for diverse legal proceedings.
  • Registries Assistance: Handle client matters involving company and land registries, including filing documents, conducting searches, and follow-ups.
  • Legal Opinions: Draft and deliver well-researched legal opinions for clients and Firm Partners.
  • Partner Support: Assist Partners with legal research, case preparation, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Other Legal Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the Firm’s growth and success.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: LL.B degree from a recognized university.
  • Professional Admission: Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or legal department.
  • Specialization: Strong background in civil litigation, mining, corporate, or business law.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent legal drafting and research capabilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
    • High level of professionalism and dedication to client service.
