Assistant Surveyor Job at TANROADS November 2024

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is a semi-autonomous agency under the Ministry of Works. Established on July 1, 2000, TANROADS is responsible for road safety, environmental measures, and strategic road sector policies. The Regional Manager, TANROADS-Tanga, on behalf of the Chief Executive, invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for vacancies for the Supervision of Mafuleta – Kileguru Road Project (30KM).

Position Title: Assistant Surveyor (1 Post)

Educational/Professional Qualifications:

Diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years of cumulative experience in survey works.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Tanzanian citizen, 25 years or older.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys to determine the shape, contour, and dimensions of land.
Coordinate survey findings with engineers and project stakeholders.
Adjust instruments to maintain accuracy.
Establish fixed points for mapping and measurements.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
