Simba Cement, formerly Tanga Cement Company Limited, has the capacity to produce over 1.25 million tonnes of Simba cement and clinker annually. We are strategically located near our primary raw material, limestone. Recent expansions include the installation of kiln number two, as well as cement mill number two and packer III. Our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001 certified, and our products are produced according to Tanzania Cement Standard TZS 721-1, equivalent to East African Standard EAS 18-1 and European Standard EN 197-1. Simba Cement PLC is located approximately 15 kilometers from Tanga city center and operates as a public company limited by shares under the Tanzanian Companies Act 2002.
