The Tanzania Horticulture Association (TAHA) is a leading private sector, member-based organization dedicated to the development and promotion of horticulture (flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and horticultural seeds) in Tanzania. TAHA’s mission is to enhance the growth and competitiveness of the horticultural industry for social and economic advancement. As a unified voice for Tanzanian horticulture, TAHA represents farmers, processors, exporters, and service providers across all levels of the value chain. Currently, TAHA is implementing the USAID-funded “Tuhifadhi Chakula” activity, a 5-year project focused on reducing food loss and food waste by addressing postharvest handling issues within key value chains, contributing significantly to Tanzania’s food security. The project implements interventions across four thematic areas: improving food handling, storage, and value addition; facilitating market access; informing and promoting enabling policies; and strengthening local organizational capacity. TAHA is an equal opportunity employer.
We are pleased to announce a new vacant position and invite applications from qualified Tanzanian citizens. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the horticultural sector in Tanzania and work towards reducing food loss and waste. We encourage interested individuals to review the full details of the position and submit their applications for consideration.
